Aromatherapy: Introduction to Aromatherapy
This introductory workshop will cover the basic principles of aromatherapy from theory to practise. Students will learn how to develop their nose and senses to determine appropriate oils to use for their own collections for personal or professional needs. We will be creating blends based on multi-level uses, including: physical, etheric, emotional, mental, inter-dimensional, karmic, archetypal, and soul/spiritual.

Body Wisdom
This course will clarify the following aspects of body wisdom… Our body is our teacher and our classroom; it has multi-level and multi-dimensional awareness. Care for the Caregiver

Helping Relations and Interview Techniques
A commitment by the student will be required to follow a personal path of self-discovery and awareness, recognize one’s limits and boundaries and distinguish one’s role as a therapist from that of a psychotherapist.
Through the aid of frank group discussions and exercises where the student will alternately play the roles of both the therapist and the client, the latter will help the student understand his own personal needs, develop listening skills and empathy.

Using the holistic perspective taught in Nutrition I, this course aims to develop basic knowledge of nutrition as a way of staying healthy. The course covers the biochemical and physiological aspects of nutrients and foods. It looks at the six classes of nutrients and their roles in the body’s functioning. It also addresses nutritional needs throughout the life cycles (from conception to longevity).

Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of massage based on preliminary evidence which is hypothesized to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. This 6 week course will cover the full body MLD routine, theory and an in depth review of the lymphatic system and how it interacts with inflammation, edema and the immune system.

Sexology
Through Introspection of one’s personal values in relation to sexuality, the student will also learn how to understand personal boundaries while working in massage therapy and how to clearly communicate objectives. The course requires the active participation of the student in role-playing scenarios of a sexual nature that may arise during one’s massage practice.

Shiatsu Workshops
Level One – Students will learn about yin and yang energies as well as the five elements. We will cover the twelve traditional meridians, their pathways, both energetically and anatomically, as well as their function and specific acupressure points. Stretching, breathing, and self care exercises will be an important part of this course.

Sound Therapy
(15 hours per level) (3 levels)
This is a three level intensive program working with Musical Tuning forks – aluminium and stainless steel. Light, color andsound are partners within the hierarchy of the creative process. Harmonic sound, both audible and vibrational can locate and resolve energetic disharmony. This modality supports balance and is complementary to other therapeutic measures. It is a gentle and enjoyable method of work which can open up fascinating new areas of subtle work.
