Description
Join us for a rejuvenating workshop designed to support your body’s transition into springtime through the harmonious blend of Yin Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine principles.
As nature awakens from its winter slumber, so too do our bodies crave renewal, movement, and expansion. In this workshop, we offer a nurturing space to attune to the energy of spring, embracing its qualities of growth and transformation.
In the first segment, we’ll delve into theory, exploring the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Discover which organs are most active during the spring season and learn about foods, acupressure points, and lifestyle practices that promote balance and vitality.
In the second segment, we’ll put theory into practice with specific Yin Yoga postures aimed at stimulating energy channels and revitalizing internal organs associated with springtime. Through prolonged holds in meditative stillness, Yin Yoga dissolves deep tensions, stimulates energy circulation, and fosters a profound sense of well-being for body and mind.
What is Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga involves holding postures for extended periods, allowing deep connective tissues and joints to release tension. By stimulating energy flow along the body’s meridian system, Yin Yoga mirrors the effects of acupuncture, promoting balance across various bodily systems. Suitable for all levels, Yin Yoga brings serenity and release, fostering a deep connection to oneself.
