Plant Spirit Healing acknowledges that the healing properties of plants go far beyond their chemical constituents. It is the Spirit of the Plant that does the healing of bringing us back into balance with the natural world and with one’s own essential self.
In the first 4 classes students will receive teachings in the classroom and also spend time ‘in the field’ where they will have the opportunity to connect with a plant’s ‘spirit’ This will be followed by a shamanic journey to take you deeper into the medicine or gifts this plant has to offer. Students will have the opportunity to sit with a plant ‘in the field’ to connect with it through their 5 senses, and will also learn how to journey shamanically to meet the Spirit of the Plant for self healing.
Each class will build on the classes before. In the last class (October) we bring it all together in an energetic healing class using the plant spirits each person has connected to over the summer.
The first class is a prerequisite to the following 3 classes. All 4 classes must be attended in order to take the 5th class. The student is asked to complete 6 additional plant journeys and complete 5 case studies after the class has finished. Once that work is completed the student will be well prepared to do a Plant Spirit Healing session on a ‘client’.
